Hi Everyone,

Let me introduce myself. I'm Y, Alana's other half and partly the reason why she takes so long to post sometimes. Now I'm not the only reason. Alana is innately quiet lazy, which is the main reason why she takes so long to post. But in her defense posting takes a great deal of time for Alana. She first writes it all down in this book she has. She carries this book everywhere with grand intentions on writing in it all the time. Even on each and every trip we went on. Whether we were canoeing down the Spanish river or one of many road trips or camping at Sandbanks it always came. But even though it came, sadly it rarely ever ended up fuller from when we started. Those grand intensions faded away in the excitement of whatever we were doing. Life always seems to get in the way. And again.. Alana's quite lazy.. She's one of the most laid back people I know.. (Its great though, cause I'm anal as hell, but it all works out and balances us somehow...) So after she's finished putting down all her ideas into her little green book she then types it all into her computer. She's not the quickest at typing and also takes some care to turn her rough ideas to make them into the writing you all know. This all can take her a couple hours if it's a long enough post. Which takes her away from paying attention to me! I don't mind most of the time but I have been known to distract her occasionally and I'm sorry to all of you for that! I hope you all understand and if you saw what she looks like you would! So it all comes down to two things... Laziness mixed with a whole lot of distraction. But fear not... Now that summer is over the posts will likely start flowing again more regularly as most distraction slowly fades away with summer...
